Are you going to the ALA Annual in Anaheim this summer? Is this your first ALA conference? Sign up for the New Members Round Table (NMRT) Conference Mentoring Program!

The Conference Mentoring Program is open to ALL ALA members and is designed to connect a first-time conference attendee with a "seasoned professional" who can help them navigate the ALA Annual Conference. From what we heard at our February General Meeting panel, you're going to need some help! Read about an NMRT Conference Mentoring experience here.

Interested in having a Conference Mentor? Learn more and apply online here. MAY 1ST is the deadline for applications.

Applicants will be matched with a Conference Mentor in May and communicate through e-mail or telephone prior to the conference. You and your mentor will then meet in Anaheim. Questions? *Note: this mentoring program is not structured to provide career guidance. It is focused on introducing first-time attendees to the Annual Conference. NMRT also offers a Career Mentoring program that will begin taking applications at the end of the summer.
