Celebrate upcoming SLIS graduates!
Saturday, April 18th 2009
6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Please join us for an evening of celebration as we gather to honor those soon graduating from the SLIS program! Enjoy sampling a variety of wines, cheeses, and other hors d'oeuvres. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available. The evening will also include a raffle.
The attire for this evening is semi-formal, so please dress appropriately. In addition, please feel free to bring your spouses or significant others with you. As alcohol will be served, we kindly ask that you do not bring your children to the event.

Join the ALA-SC for a tour of the Kinsey Library!
The Kinsey Institute Library was founded in 1947 by Alfred Kinsey. It has a large collection on human sexuality, gender, and reproduction. The library holds several publications, objects, and art from six continents.

Don't miss our first general meeting of the semester! We will be gathering on February 20th at 1:00pm in LI030, where adjunct lecturer Linda Kamoji will be sharing secrets of the world of cataloging.
In addition to teaching at SLIS, Linda works for IU Libraries as a supervisor of the Monographic Copy Cataloging Unit of the Western European Cataloging Section.
