The SLISsard Line is the student created and supported newsletter of the IUB ALA student chapter. It maintains a four-part goal: first, to provide ALA-SC and SLIS students with an outlet to express their ideas on any topic within the field of librarianship; second, to promote awareness of current issues in the library world; third, to provide educational and professional resources for all SLIS students; and fourth, to inform SLIS students of the activities of the ALA-SC. To that end the newsletter committee is composed of articles written by ALA-SC member volunteers.
